IADT Hosts EU Erasmus+ Cyberpsychology Programme with Partners from Estonia and Germany

IADT Hosts International Cyberpsychology Exchange Programme
In February 2026, IADT (Institute of Art, Design + Technology, Dún Laoghaire) hosted visiting students and lecturers from Tallinn University, Estonia and Hochschule der Medien, Stuttgart, Germany. The visit was conducted as part of an EU Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Cyberpsychology.
Programme Structure and Content
The Cyberpsychology BIP ran from 23rd to 27th February 2026. BIP lecture and workshop topics included artificial intelligence, misinformation and deepfakes, online communication, gaming, and the social psychology of the internet.
Hands-On Learning with Immersive Technologies
Students explored immersive technologies through workshops in the IADT Immersive Media Lab and a group experience at Sandbox VR, providing practical engagement with cutting-edge digital tools.
Programme Organisation
The IADT Erasmus+ Cyberpsychology BIP was organised by Sonya Hogan, Hannah Barton, Dr Sinéad Meade, Dr Liam Challenor, Dr Andrew Errity, and Dr John Greaney.
Upcoming Legal Psychology Exchange
A group of IADT BSc Applied Psychology students were scheduled to travel to Estonia at Easter 2026 to complete an EU Erasmus+ BIP in Legal Psychology at Tallinn University, continuing the collaborative partnership.
